Director, MedTech JJT ERP & Digital Product Development Group

MedTech ERP & Digital Product Development Group Leader will play a
pivotal role in leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
in the development of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
products. This leader will be responsible for shaping the strategic
vision, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, and
ensuring the successful delivery of standard ERP business processes
template solutions. This role is critical in ensuring the
successful planning, execution, and delivery of ERP solutions that
meet customer requirements and business transformation objectives.
This position requires a deep understanding of ERP systems, strong
leadership skills, and a focus on innovation and quality. The role
will fundamentally lead all aspects of platform governance,
continuous improvement & efficiencies across MedTech Supply Chain,
enabling strategic capabilities, human centered design, and
platform integration across our digital ecosystem. This role will
partner closely with the MedTech supply chain Transcend Product
Owner, business process owners, global product owners, SCT
ecosystem owners, Technology Services and various vendor partners
to ensure end to end capabilities are supported and evolved. This
role will operate closely with the execution of MT TranSCend
deployment organization to grow and evolve the capabilities as
business and regional deployments are implemented. This individual
must demonstrate a refined, multi-functional toolset of expertise
with the SAP S4 and family of products, supply chain business
expertise, process improvement, execution of ground-breaking
initiatives, global deployments, and digital skills to effectively
interact with a breadth of business partners and global process
owners. This role will partner closely with senior leaders within
the MedTech supply chain to ensure the evolving business
requirements are being considered and met thru optimal use of
digital capability. This role will be responsible for enterprise
reporting and collaboration across program participants in Business
and JJT including Commercial JJT. Additional responsibilities will
include and may not be limited to: Leadership & Strategic
Direction: --- Provide leadership and strategic guidance to the ERP
product development group. --- Define and communicate a clear
vision, strategy, and goals that align with the company's overall
objectives. --- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering
their professional growth and leadership skills. --- Create a
collaborative and high-performance work environment. --- Lead a
People Capabilities and Enablement team within the overall
structure to oversee all aspects of continuous platform community
learning, persona-based capabilities building and training,
platform partner engagement and communications. --- Develop and
implement a Global Template governance framework as part of the
continuous design, build, test, and deploy methodology framework
(eg. TranSCend Global Implementation Framework) --- Collaborate
closely with product managers, business analysts, quality assurance
teams, and other departments to align product development with
customer needs and market dynamics. --- Cultivate strong
communication and collaboration across different teams, ensuring a
unified approach to product development. Strategy & Execution: ---
Develop and implement the product development roadmap, considering
market trends, customer needs, and business goals. --- Collaborate
with executive leadership to define and align product strategies
with the company's long-term vision. --- Ensure efficient resource
allocation to meet project timelines and budgets. --- Identify
potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies. ---
Deploy and oversee the operating model that extends across all
regions and MedTech franchises globally, inclusive of demand intake
(deployments, global interdependencies governance and ownership of
global backlog prioritization and capacity management --- Partner
with Global Product Owners and Business Process Owners for the
ongoing global template evolution, business process scenario
catalog, and product capability delivery for the platform ---
Oversee the development and deployment of globally supported and
standardized capabilities in the MT Transcend S4 platform ---
Ensure integrity of E2E MedTech processes through integrations
across ERP, WMS, MES, Quality & other key Supply Chain systems to
enable end to end business operations --- Responsible for the
budget for ERP product development, including cost analysis and
resource allocation. --- Optimize resource utilization to achieve
project objectives effectively. Product Development & Innovation:
--- Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and
deployment of ERP software products. --- Oversee the software
development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring the use of industry
standard practices. --- Promote a culture of innovation, driving
the development of innovative features and technologies. ---
Evaluate and recommend the adoption of new tools, technologies, and
methodologies to enhance product development efficiency and
quality. --- Enable ongoing continuous improvement of business
process effectiveness & efficiency for J&J MedTech Implement
and maintain thorough testing and quality control procedures. ---
Address and resolve issues identified during testing, ensuring the
delivery of a robust and reliable product. --- Ensure compliance
with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security
protocols. --- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project
plans, technical specifications, and development progress. ---
Provide regular and transparent status updates and reports to the
Vice President of Product Development and other key partners.
